Pastor Christopher Lyons and the History of the DuPage Prayer Breakfast
Christopher Lyons, former pastor of Wheaton Bible Church, shares the story of how the Watergate Incident in 1972 inspired a group of people from DuPage County, IL. They approached the County Chairman in 1973 with the idea of starting an annual Prayer Breakfast to pray for those in authority. This event, held each December, has run continuously since then, with the exception of 2020, due to COVID 19. Please enjoy Pastor Lyons’ beautiful memories.
